Perfect for Children

Les Mortiers is a wonderful place to holiday with children. The gites offer privacy for each family and plenty of space for youngsters to exert their energy without disturbing other guests.

It is the perfect introduction to rural life – chickens laying fresh eggs for breakfast, wild flowers, birds and not forgetting the horses of the neighbouring farmer, in the fields around our property. To see a horse galloping across the fields in the morning is a wonderful site, birds making their nests in springtime, or a shy hedgehog ending it’s winter hibernation coming out from a pile of leaves.

There’s a “Child Friendly Pack”, too. Many of the little things, which become an extra burden when packing to go away with young children, are taken care of. We even have a collection children’s books and CDs with bedtime stories.

Our heated swimming pool (12m × 5m) is oxygen treated and kind to sensitive skins. The space dome provides cover in early and late season keeping the swimming pool warm and very comfortable to swim and play in. In summer it can be used to provide a UV filter whilst enjoying the pool with your children. There’s a small inflatable paddling pool available too.
